How is GCwiki different than other collaboration tools?

Modified on Fri, 28 Aug, 2020 at 9:31 AM

GCwiki is an external tool that is part of the GCTools suite. Like GCcollab, tit is open to public servants from all levels of government, academics and students from Canadian universities and colleges, external partners, and anyone by invitation. GCwiki supplements existing work on GCcollab and hosts information, working documents, and projects from communities across Canada. GCwiki users can take part in developing and building information resources, accessible by all members.

Like other wikis, including GCpedia, GCwiki  is designed to be open and collaborative, and doesn’t support private spaces or controlling the readership. Any registered usercan share and update any information they believe others would benefit from receiving. and can contribute to GCwiki by editing pages or creating new pages that did not previously exist.
